Hand turkey

(This idea came home from school.)

Materials:

• paper
• markers, pencil crayons or crayons
• feathers
• white glue
  

Instructions:

• have adult trace child's hand on paper using marker, pencil crayon or crayons
• make a "head" out of the thumb with an eye and a beak
• add feet under the palm
• have child glue feathers around the fingers for the body of the turkey
